From 1998-2018 we owned and operated  "Back In Action", an interdisciplinary health care center featuring sports chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, yoga, pilates, nutritional counseling and sport specific performance training.  David, as a chiropractic sports physician, served as the clinical director and Stephanie, a career accountant, as the operations manager. 

We worked together for 20 years and  developed a stellar regional reputation. David was consistently voted "Best Doctor" or "Best Bedside Manner" and the clinic was awarded numerous times for "Best Massage" and "Best Alternative Health Care Center" in Richmond, Virginia.

From 2016-2025 we owned and operated a sensory deprivation float spa, The Float Zone.  We helped thousands of people reduce their stress, anxiety and pain, improve sleep, and athletic recovery.  We were awarded "Best in Richmond" multiple times over the years.

We had 4 float pods like the one pictured here.  There is 10" of skin temperature water (94 degree) saturated with 1000 pounds of Epsom salt. You can float with lights and/or music or darkness and silence. You float effortlessly like a cork for an hour and emerge feeling different in both body and mind.  We had 2 float therapy dogs, who thought they ran the place. The dogs live with us at home now.
