Our Passion for Pets and Travel

Our love for animals is a key part of who we are. Pets have been integral members of our family. 

When Stephanie was single, she had a golden retriever/Irish setter mix who brought immense joy to her life. Together, we have had cats throughout the years, including our beloved Lion, who was a part of our family for 20 plus years, and feral Meadow (alias tripod), a resilient three-legged cat who survived being run over by a car and was with us for 18 years. They brought us great joy, and we’ve appreciated their companionship.

We are now without furry friends, as they both passed away in very recent years.  As animal enthusiasts, we enjoy showering our pets with love, care, and attention, and they have always been a source of comfort and happiness for us. We often sit for our neighbors pets, including both cats and dogs. 

Now that we are recently retired, we’re seeking to explore places that will allow us to continue enjoying the outdoors, as well as caring for and showing love to other people’s furry four-legged family members.

 We are avid travelers with a passion for exploring destinations near water or surrounded by mountains. Our love for adventure has led us to visit a variety of incredible places, from the beaches of Mexico and the Caribbean to the charming cities of Europe. Canada holds a special place in our hearts, having visited multiple times, experiencing most of the provinces - our favorite being Alberta. 

We’ve explored the natural wonders of Jackson Hole, the vibrant charm of Park City and Sundance, Utah, the tranquility of the San Juan Islands and British Columbia, and the stunning national parks of Montana, New York and New England. The pinnacle of our travel experiences was an unforgettable trip to Iceland (photo).

Whether locally, nationally or internationally, we are always seeking new and interesting destinations that offer both adventure and relaxation.
